TDH Experiential Fabricators - South Surrey, BC
We build and install amazing visual projects for high profile clients (e.g., Arc’teryx, Browns Restaurants, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, etc.). Our specialities are custom architectural signs, metal fabrication, illuminated signs and interactive environments - everything we do is custom and no two projects are the same.
As a Paint Specialist, you will be a key member of our fabrication team and will be responsible for the final steps of making amazing looking signage, displays and industrial art. We have all the tools, equipment and safety items you will need, including a professional paint booth and mixing station. You will have opportunities to innovate and occasionally set items on fire (safely, of course).
We are looking for either sign industry painting experience, or automotive / auto body painting experience.
Specifically, you will be:
- Reviewing shop drawings and finishing/painting signs to specification.
- Working with various paint equipment, machinery and hand tools - we have a 28’ long paint booth, high-end spray guns, mixing station, etc.
- Sanding, grinding, filling, prepping, painting and finishing.
- Managing and overseeing your assigned jobs, calculating paint needs and working within the planned schedule and budget.
- Working closely with and learn from our team.
- Advising our estimators on paint methods and hours required to accomplish a project including material uses.
- Communicating effectively with other team members.
- Working on other fabrication tasks (e.g., metalwork, vinyl), as if there is downtime.

- Ability to travel to the USA (for training, if required)
