**An overview of your future role at BBA**

BBA is seeking an intern in processes to join a team that offers high-quality expertise and consulting engineering services. As an intern, you’ll be required to help with proposals and engineering work, select technology and carry out plant projects. The team's services cover the following industries: biofuel manufacturing processes, carbon capture and utilization, green hydrogen, water treatment, liquefied natural gas, specialized chemicals, lithium processing and much more.

**An overview of your mandates and responsibilities**

**Help prepare specifications, process design criteria, process flow diagrams (PFDs), process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), plant layouts, technical specifications and evaluations and reports.
- Help design processes as well as size process and mechanical equipment.
- Perform technical tasks to support project delivery.
- Participate in site inspections and surveys.
- Help plan, organize and assess team work and coordinate activities.
- Assess client satisfaction and maintain strong and close relationships with clients and their representatives.

**Overview of job requirements**
- ** **Ongoing studies in an undergraduate chemical engineering program
- Completed the equivalent of third year of training
- Basic knowledge of process equipment design
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written (English and French)
- Basic knowledge of process modelling and simulation
- Basic understanding of fluid mechanics and heat transfer
- Asset: Knowledge of the AspenTech Suite (HYSYS and Plus)
