Finishing Carpenter

As a member of the Finishing department, you will be responsible for the installation of doors, millwork, ceiling tile, and final finishes such as painting and caulking.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Hang doors and install hardware
- Installation of millwork
- Final finishes of paint, caulking and ceiling tile
- Ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills, attention to detail, with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong verbal communication
- Flexible, willing to work long hours if required
- A self-motivated individual that requires minimum supervision and with goal and team-oriented attitude

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Keeping work area clean and tidy
- Demonstrate safe, quality, and efficient work is being performed
- Completion of daily timesheets and other paperwork that may be required
- Being punctual for all shifts
- Delivers results for the department
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring tools are returned to job box at the end of each shift
- Attend monthly Safety Meetings
- Participate in inspections when given the chance
- Report all incidents at the time of incident
- Encourage the OHS Rights - Right to Know, Right to Participate and Right to Refuse

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 2-5 years finishing experience
- Safe, skilled use of power to
- Effective communication skills, working well with others
- Exhibits and promotes a sense of urgency and excellence toward all work activities
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization with high levels of integrity, tact and maturity

**Location**:
This role is based at our 135,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in **Crossfield, Alberta**,located 20 minutes north of Calgary. Strategically positioned near a High Load Corridor, we can transport loads up to 9 meters high to various parts of Alberta, Saskatchewan, BC, and the United States. Our employees reside in Calgary, Airdrie, and surrounding communities.

Pay: $24.00-$34.58 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
