**LOCATION**: Whitby, ON
**SHIFT HOURS/DAYS**: Tuesday
- Friday 6pm-2am, Saturday 4pm-12am

**Job Overview**: You will be responsible for ensuring your building looks clean, presentable, and inviting. Some of the duties and responsibilities include maintaining common areas, and washrooms, mopping, sweeping, and wiping down the glass and other surfaces.

** DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Clean offices, auditoriums, classrooms, washrooms, kitchen, dining areas, halls,

entrances/exits, reception areas, and more;
- Ensure proper sanitation & disinfection procedures are followed;
- Replenish supplies as needed;
- Ensure garbage disposal in proper bins;
- Clean all dry & wet spills throughout the facility as required;
- Maintain & secure storage areas, cleaning equipment & materials in an orderly manner;
- Report equipment repairs and stock shortages;
- Perform and/or report minor maintenance repairs;
- Report damage & acts of vandalism;
- Other duties as assigned

** SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- Ability to use auto scrubbers, burnishes, carpet cleaning equipment, & tucker pole
- Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment
- Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
- Ability to read & understand labels & instructions
- Previous custodial experience as an asset
- Acceptable security and criminal record check.

**Requirements**:

- Must have a reliable transportation
- Must have kitchen cleaning experience
- Ability to pass Canadian Background Check
