Junior Shop Technician

**Qualifications & experience**
- General Mechanical Aptitude is an asset.
- Displayed experience in technical aviation component MRO work is preferred but not essential.
- Commercial aviation experience is advantageous but not essential.
- General Computer Knowledge is an asset.
**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Complete all Maintenance, Repair or Overhaul work on components in accordance with technical documents and company procedures.
- Attain and maintain competency in the operation and upkeep of all workshop test equipment and machinery.
- Ensure compliance with all company, regulatory and manufacturers’ procedures.
- Process and complete all maintenance records and reports.
- Complete in-house training requirements
- Ensure awareness and comply with PAI-C Quality systems in place
- Undertake the process to induct and create shop work orders for units upon arrival at PAI-C
- Carry out required logistics processes to ensure material requirements are met for the workshop activities, including:
- Process parts that are required to be sent out for rework
- Tracking required material, and setting planned arrival dates in the ERP
- Receiving parts into the PAI shop warehouse, using the ERP
- Pick and Issue parts to required work orders when ready
- Updating Shop Manager (PRM) on current requirements to assist with resource allocation
- Work with Shop Manager (PRM) to provide formal support where required in response to technical or warranty queries.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
