Follow Banquet Event Orders & Event Task List

Set up Tables and Chairs depending on requirements

Prepare tables with appropriate linen

Prepare tables with water glasses and pitchers

Set up pads, pens and candy bowls

Set up buffet, registration tables, coffee stations and water stations based on BEO and floor plans

Set up coat racks (seasonal)

Clear all debris from tables and chairs

Clear all pens, pads and candy bowls

Collect used linen and place in laundry bins

Breakdown tables and store accordingly

Stack chairs according to standards and store accordingly

Manage equipment storage by reviewing future events in the banquet room.

Vacuum and sweep banquet rooms. Includes service areas according to the events task list

Ensure all garbage/Recycling Cans are emptied and placed in the designated areas.

Ensure all chairs, sofas and stools are dust and debris free

Ensure all linen is clean and tear free

Ensure glassware, pitchers and candy bowls are clean, polished and not chipped

All hard surfaces, service and bar back areas to be wiped, disinfected and mopped

All wooden horizontal and vertical surfaces in banquet rooms to be dusted and polished

All glass horizontal and vertical surfaces including windows in Banquet rooms to be cleaned and fingerprint free

All light fixtures and lamp shades to be dusted

All fridges (exterior) to be wiped and disinfected

Periodic deep cleaning activities to be performed according to schedule and business levels

Additional tasks may be added or required by management depending on business needs

Excellent command of the English language both oral and written

Demonstrate customer service ethic and have a friendly and outgoing disposition

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

Ability to handle pressure, varied workloads and multiple tasks

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

Must be able to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time

An enthusiastic, self directed, team player with high level of adaptability to rapidly changing demands

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $17.50-$18.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
