Baker/cashier

**Position: Cashier**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming, positive shopping experience.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, services, and store policies.
- Assist in the preparation and packaging of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and rum balls.
- Accurately process various forms of payment at the point of sale (POS), issue receipts, and manage customer orders.
- Create, organize, and manage customer invoices.
- Count and balance the cash register at the start and end of each shift to ensure accurate financial records.
- Ensure accurate scanning of products for price and quantity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace.
- Assist with inventory tracking and supply ordering as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to support efficient workflow and production.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newmarket, ON L3Y 2N7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
