CAREER OPPORTUNITY AJAX
**MATERIAL HANDLER PERMANENT FULL-TIME**

**MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS**
- Supply all machine centers with the required materials
- Pick and stage all packaging materials for required shop orders
- Remove finished goods from production lines to finished goods area
- Return unused stock to designated warehouse area ensuring proper count and store in racking after finishing production run
- Maintain warehouse ensuring proper utilization of racking space available
- Operate automated palletizer, wrap and move finished goods skids to Shipping staging area
- Perform cycle counts for materials in the area
- Maintain transactions in associated warehouse and inventory software systems
- Conduct daily equipment inspections, to ensure all equipment are in good working order
- Ensure FIFO procedure is followed
- Operate lift truck ensuring proper Safety Procedures are carried out
- Accurately complete all required documentation - Tea dump report, Trad Med Pink sheet
- Report all discrepancies to Supervisor
- Other duties as assigned

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum OSSD, or equivalent
- Reach Truck/Counter-balance/Order Picker/Fall-restraint certification
- Team Player with Operations & Material Handling Environment
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment
- 3-5 years' experience working in Material Handling/Order Picking position
- Must have a demonstrated history of safe work and food safety habits
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to multitask and prioritize / organized
- Able to take direction, both verbal and written, and communicate effectively
- Skills Assessments will be required
