We’re looking for a thoughtful and reliable Cooking & Nutrition Facilitator to join our team at the Cambridge Food Bank. In this role, you’ll lead engaging, hands-on cooking programs for people of all ages, from young children to adults and community groups.

- Make sure the kitchen is clean, safe, and ready for each session
- Adjust lessons to reflect participants’ cultures, dietary needs, and comfort levels
- Track attendance and feedback, and support with stories and data for reports
- Keep program info up to date and help with online registration
- Work occasional evenings and weekends based on program needs
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching basic cooking skills like chopping, measuring, and using different techniques
- Confident speaking to groups and leading both in-person and virtual sessions
- Experience working in communities, especially where food insecurity is a concern
- Good communication skills and a supportive, inclusive approach
- Physically able to lift, bend, and be on your feet for most of the day
- Valid G-class driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Assets:
- A diploma or degree in culinary arts, nutrition, community work, or a similar field
- Safe Food Handling certification
- First Aid or Peer Health Worker training
