Overall Accountability

The Specialist, Human Capital Management Systems, is accountable for technical and functional support to People Services users and the employee client base with their day-to-day system activities in the various human capital management systems. The Specialist is also responsible for conducting established data audits and the testing of system functionality.

Specific Accountabilities
- Supports the employee client base with PS Self Service and ASK employee service portal with inquires and issue resolution
- Assists in unit and integrated testing of the PeopleSoft HCM system updates and annual maintenance; assists in the unit and integrated testing of ServiceNow upgrades as required
- Assists in unit and integrated testing of new and/or enhanced functionality of system solutions
- Conducts system and data audits across all modules of the various HCM systems
- Works in a team environment and ensures People Services deadlines impacting the accuracy of human resources data are met
- Thrives in fast-paced environments and in time sensitive situations

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate in Human Resources or Information Technology
- Experience with data auditing and functional system testing
- Experience with end user support and issue resolution
- Experience with Oracle - PeopleSoft HCM is required
- Experience with Service Now is an asset
- Proven attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity is maintained
- Ability to understand collective agreements and rules-based processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent ability to collaborate with colleagues and other units within People Services
- Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive data with sound judgement and diplomacy
