Mortgage Agent/broker Trainer

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mortgage Agent Trainer who will be responsible for conducting live video training sessions to educate and mentor newly hired mortgage agents. As a key member of our training team, you will play a pivotal role in equipping our agents with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles. Your expertise in the mortgage industry, coupled with your exceptional communication and instructional abilities, will be instrumental in developing our agents' proficiency and ensuring their success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Live Video Training Sessions: Conduct interactive and engaging live video training sessions for newly hired mortgage agents. These sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, sales techniques, compliance, and industry best practices.
- Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the training team to design and develop comprehensive training materials, presentations, and resources. Ensure that the content is current, relevant, and aligned with industry standards and regulations.
- Q&A Sessions: Facilitate question and answer sessions during and after the training sessions to address trainees' inquiries, concerns, and to clarify complex concepts.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other trainers and stakeholders to improve the overall training program. Share best practices and innovative approaches to optimize training effectiveness.
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of training attendance, performance evaluations, and other relevant metrics to monitor trainees' development and share progress reports with management.

**Qualifications**:

- Mortgage Industry Expertise: Extensive experience as a mortgage agent and/or underwriter, or, with a deep understanding of mortgage products, regulations, and best practices.
- Nice to have: experience as a trainer, preferably in a live video or remote training setting. Ability to deliver complex information effectively and adapt training techniques to various learning styles.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate concepts clearly, engage trainees, and foster a positive and collaborative learning environment.
- Nice to have: coaching and mentoring abilities to support new agents, identify their strengths and areas for growth, and provide constructive feedback.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with video conferencing tools, online learning platforms, and other training technologies to deliver seamless live video training experiences.
- Organization and Adaptability: Excellent organizational skills to manage training schedules, materials, and assessments. Ability to adapt to changing business needs and industry dynamics.
- Patience and Empathy: Possess patience and empathy to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and skill levels, ensuring all trainees receive the necessary support and guidance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Up-to-date knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and compliance standards to ensure all training content adheres to legal requirements.

**Salary**: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
