HERE'S HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE:

- Assists experienced team members with Information Security activities, as assigned including security monitoring procedures. Document and perform processes related to security monitoring.
- Isolate issues using the suite of Security tools. Work with other staff to identify appropriate course of remediation and suggest methods of tuning systems accordingly.
- Perform and review results from scheduled assessments identifying related risks. Work with other IT teams to identify resolution plans and follow progress to conclusion.
- Assist with data collection and reporting activities in support of PCI sustainment framework.
- Conduct initial investigations of escalated security and network events. Assist in maintaining a library of documented response procedures. Participate in knowledge sharing with other analysts and develop efficient solutions.
- Write technical articles for internal knowledge base
- Collaborate with a team of co-op students on a real business case study

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited institution.
- Familiarity with security principles, techniques and technologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a business-friendly language across a spectrum of IT, Business and partners.
- Ability to write clear instructions, procedures, presentations, and training materials.
- Willingness to learn, adapt and improve systems.
- Adaptable, innovative and passionate about cyber security.
- Please note, the team project may require additional effort and work outside of your regularly scheduled work hours.
