Service Technician

We are looking for a **Full-Time Service Technicians** with an electrical mechanic/technician background and valid driver’s license.

**About the Opportunity**

We are looking for multiple full-time **Service Technicians (on-the-road or in-house shop)** to join us in **Toronto, Ontario. **You will be providing mechanical repairs to washers and dryers at customer locations within their assigned regions, as well as keeping our machines running smoothly to meet customer expectations or repeated service needs.

**Service technician (on-the-road)**: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday and Emergency on rotation on call

**Workshop service technician**: Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Servicing washers and dryers at apartments, laundromats, hotels, athletic facilities, etc.
- Travelling to client sites and forming close working relationships with them
- Preparing and repairing laundry equipment on the road and/or in the workshop
- Disassembling, examining, and troubleshooting the machines' mechanical and electrical parts
- Reassembling appliances, adjusting pulleys, and lubricating moving parts
- Replacing worn or defective parts and adjusting motors, as well as, cleaning and washing parts
- Advising dispatch department of equipment that should be replaced
- Driving a company vehicle to and from work locations (for on-the-road service technicians)

**About You**

To qualify, you will need **skills or background as an electrical mechanic or technician**, with a focus on appliance repair, electromechanics, or other related electrical courses.

This role should resonate with you if you have the following:

- Ability to move heavy equipment up to 40 lbs
- Proactive and enjoy working independently
- Competent mechanical aptitude and knowledge of basic tools
- A valid driver's license for on-the-road service calls
- Prior washer/dryer repair experience is desirable
- Motivation to continuously learn
- English proficiency (asset)

As a service technician, your goal is the delivery of laundry repair solutions coupled with top-notch customer service. It is essential that you have a positive approach to work, great communication, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Per collective agreement, you can look forward to a **competitive hourly wage between $24.48 to $32.60**. Wage is determined based on current Gas certification level, combined with years of experience.
