Endoscopy Technician

**Job purpose**

Reporting to the Clinic Manager, the Endoscopy Tech will be responsible for all departmental functions in support of DHC’s mission, vision and goals.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assist with procedures in the Endoscopy Suite
- Work closely with the Clinic Manager to ensure the following business areas are operating effectively, efficiently and within all regulatory requirements: Operations (nursing & administrative); Scheduling/Billing; Marketing & Business Development; Finance; IT; Human Resources; Quality Advisory and Facilities Management
- Ensure optimal clinic flow; a high level of customer service and compliance with all relevant regulations
- Maintain open lines of communication at all levels of the organization
- Promote a strong occupational safety focus

**Qualifications**
- Background in healthcare(PSW, laboratory technician, imaging technician, nursing students in second year, new immigrant with nursing background)
- Certification in CPR
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written)
- Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills, the ability to take initiative
- The ability to create a team, a passion for achieving results and a commitment to customer service excellence are required
- Competency in MS Office or equivalent computer skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
