**About The Opportunity**:
Working as an integral part of the Ta na wa Yúus ta Stitúyntsam̓ Rights and Title Department, reporting to the Natural Resources Manager, this position will be in charge of planning, executing, and managing all aspects of a variety of environmental and salmon-centered restoration projects in Squamish Territory. Project management tasks include restoration assessment, researching appropriate restoration techniques, liaising with relevant governments and organizations, hiring contractors and consultants as necessary, conducting community engagement, working with and managing staff to complete restoration activities, coordinating restoration construction works, post-restoration monitoring, purchasing field gear, and managing schedule, budget, and work plans related to restoration projects. To begin, the incumbent will undertake up to 2 shovel-ready restoration projects. The incumbent will also complete in-depth assessments and develop work plans for additional restoration locations depending on which areas require the most ecological support. The incumbent will plan and manage community engagement including a restoration ceremony. The incumbent is well organized and requires strong interpersonal, technical/administrative skills with exceptional time management, multi-tasking, leadership skills, and works well independently under mínimal supervision. The position requires a thorough understanding of project management, is highly detail-oriented, and works well in a team-oriented environment. Operates at a high level of people interaction and must be able to respond with courtesy, tact, and diplomacy.

***Salary**: $ 86,776 - $ 99,335 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits program
