Activate Games is a tech company known for creating Canada’s first full-scale interactive gaming facility. We are looking to expand our manufacturing team with the addition of a Mechanical Assembler. The position of Mechanical Assembler involves working in a dynamic manufacturing environment with a commitment to growth through rapid prototyping. A successful applicant will be expected to autonomously complete production tasks from part picking to completing assemblies. Due to a constantly changing production cycle, training will be provided as new tasks are available to learn. This is a permanent, full-time position. Night shifts run from 11:00pm-7:00am and are eligible for a shift premium.

**The Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Use various hand and power tools to complete game component assemblies based on part drawings and assembly guides;
- Update component assembly guides as changes occur;
- Prepare small-batch wiring harness orders for concept prototyping;
- Provide support during quality control testing when needed;
- Provide support during local prototype installations when needed;
- Maintain workstation cleanliness and organization;
- Maintain workspace inventory levels based on weekly checks;
- Other tasks and duties as assigned;

**The Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 3-years of experience in an assembly production setting is required
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license is required
- Access to reliable transportation is required
- Experience with power tools is required
