**Position Overview**:
As a Production CPFR Specialist, your primary responsibility is to optimize the production planning, forecasting, and replenishment processes. You will work collaboratively with various teams to ensure efficient and effective production operations, ensuring that the right products are available in the right quantities at the right time to meet customer demand while minimizing waste and costs.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1.** **Forecasting and Demand Planning**:

- Collaborate with sales team to gather and analyze demand data.
- Develop accurate and reliable demand forecasts for various food products.
- Utilize forecasting tools to assist in predicting demand patterns.
- Monitor market trends, seasonality, and customer preferences to adjust forecasts accordingly.

**2.** **Inventory Management**:

- Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demands and production schedules while minimizing holding costs.
- Implement inventory control strategies to reduce excess or obsolete stock.
- Monitor and manage stock levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment and distribution.

**3.** **Production Planning**:

- Create and maintain production schedules to align with demand forecasts.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure capacity planning meets production requirements.
- Optimize production efficiency, taking into account factors like equipment availability and labor resources.
- Make adjustments to schedules in response to changes in demand or supply constraints.

**4.** **Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Work closely with sales, logistics, and production teams to ensure alignment on planning and demand forecasts.
- Participate in regular cross-functional meetings to discuss production and inventory status, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.

**5.** **Performance Analysis**:

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production and demand planning, such as forecast accuracy, fill rate, and inventory turnover.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement continuous process enhancements.

**6.** **Technology and Tools**:

- Utilize tools and systems for demand forecasting, inventory management, and production planning.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance the CPFR process.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations research, or a related field.
- Previous experience in Food production planning, demand forecasting, or CPFR within the food manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as Minotaur or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, demand planning software, and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across different teams.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry-specific challenges is an advantage.
