Accounts Receivable Clerk

**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is personable and articulate, with demonstrated customer service skills. This position will mainly focus on the Accounts Receivable cycle, with additional support as required for the Finance and Administrative Departments.
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**
- The creation and issuance of invoicing and associated documentation
- Collections efforts
- Process cash receipts and deposits
- Filing invoices, timesheets, expense sheets, and closed payables
- Liaise with staff regarding Aged Accounts Receivables and coordinate client contact
- Follow up with staff regarding delinquent timesheet submissions and invoicing worksheets
- Aid in the general maintenance of the internal billing system
- Provide general support to the Finance Department
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A university/college degree or diploma with focus in accounting and/or finance
- Detail oriented and thorough
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic and highly motivated; takes initiative and is proactive
- Customer-focused, dedicated to providing quality service
- Ability to prioritize work and multi-task under pressure to meet deadlines
- Good judgement, analytical skill, and ability to make routine decisions independently
- Strong fluency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Bilingual in English and French is not required, but would be considered an asset
