**Job Description - Line Cook**
The Brew Rev Team is hiring an experienced line cook for both daytime and evenings. We are a fast-paced restaurant and take pride in our signature dishes and using quality ingredients and sourcing from local partners and a fun healthy work environment. We are looking to hire an individual who is dependable and able to work with our integrated front of house and kitchen team environment.
We do our best to work with our team to set a flexible schedule and work life balance.
**Responsibilities**:
- Food preparation, production, and kitchen operations
- Maintains standards set of preparation, portioning, presentation, and food waste
- Maintain and inspect all preparation and cooking equipment on a regular basis to ensure that they are kept clean, sanitary, and in good operating order
- Assure adherence to all standards of food safety, quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation
- Monitor holding and storage operations, stocking and food rotation, and guarantee food service sanitation standards are met
- Adheres to kitchen best cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation practices
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Reports to head cook.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of greater of culinary experience
- Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front of house
- Safe Food Handling Certification
- Ability to lift 50 lbs required
- Ability to bend, stand, and stoop for long periods of time, and working long hours in hot conditions
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week
**Salary**: $18.00-$22.50 per hour
