Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate child care worker to join our team. As a child care worker, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children. Your primary responsibility will be to care for and educate children, ensuring their well-being.

Early Childhood Education Level 1 certification is required for this position. This position has a guarantee of 40 hours per week. Wage is dependent on ECE Certification level. The wage range includes the wage enhancement provided by the Government of Saskatchewan.

*This is a contracted position to cover a maternity leave. It is not a permanent full-time position.*

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide attentive care and supervision to children in a safe and secure environment
- Implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's physical, social, and intellectual growth
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
- Maintain a clean and organized space
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of the children

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain

Criminal record check is required.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $21.06-$28.93 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
