**Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated Lawyer to join our team at World Gateway Immigration. In this role, you will provide legal guidance and support to clients seeking immigration services, ensuring compliance with Canadian laws and regulations. Your expertise will be vital in helping clients achieve their immigration goals.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients regarding Canadian immigration matters.
- Draft and review legal documents such as appeals.
- Conduct thorough research on immigration laws and regulations to support client cases.
- Negotiate with government agencies on behalf of clients to facilitate the immigration process.
- Assist clients in preparing for interviews and hearings related to their immigration status.
**Requirements**:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Canada.
- Strong writing and legal drafting skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent research abilities and familiarity with legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis.
- Proven negotiation skills and ability to advocate effectively for clients.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
- Commission pay
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
