AGF’s Marketing & Innovation team is responsible for delivering timely and effective marketing, communications, digital and product initiatives and programs that support respective business priorities, partners and ultimately AGF’s clients. The team builds and maintains trusted partner relationships with internal clients and stakeholders to achieve a collaborative mindset and united approach to business results and client engagement.

AGF’s Marketing & Innovation team is a leader in fostering AGF’s brand both internally and externally across all AGF businesses.

About the Role:
This internship program provides opportunities for you to gain valuable work experience in a corporate environment, while also introducing you to the financial industry and providing valuable networking opportunities.

The Summer Internship Program will run from early May until the end of August. Based in Toronto, the Marketing Summer Intern will report to the Senior Manager, Investments Marketing and Product Management.

Your Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Investments Marketing & Product Management, the Intern will be tasked with supporting general marketing and content projects including but not limited to initiatives supporting the positioning of AGF’s mutual fund and ETF line-up.
- Collaborate with teams across the Marketing & Innovation department with the responsibility of supporting ongoing projects
- Responsible for preparing illustrations and analytical reports while ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Assist various internal business partners with sourcing product information and analytics
- Contribute to the creation and distribution of educational content and training material on AGF’s investment strategies to institutional and retail distribution partners
- Partner with operations, marketing and innovation, IT, communications, and investment management on automation efforts to support internal and external materials related to AGF’s investment product line-up
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional business partners across investment management, marketing, operations, legal, compliance and other teams, to deliver against the broader organization’s strategic objectives
- Participate in all team meetings as an active contributor.

Your Qualifications:

- A passion for Marketing & Innovation, with an interest in investment management and finance;
- Strong project management skills;
- Technically savvy, able to understand complex data and translate to clear, concise writing;
- Ability to maintain strict attention to detail;
- Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills;
- Excellent business writing skills - writing, editing, proofreading;
- Fully adept in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
