**Responsibilities**:

- Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical/safety issues and report insufficiencies to management
- Perform preventative/basic maintenance tasks
- Safely operate company box trucks and other equipment
- Load and unload materials or equipment onto/off of trucks
- Verify loads for accuracy
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries; find new routes when needed
- Communicate with office, warehouse and customer - report delivery status
- Collect payment from customers
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, along with company policies and procedures
- Complete driver’s daily log book and maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- Report any defects, accidents, or violations immediately
- Troubleshoot equipment
- Assist warehouse team when required

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Valid Class G Licence with a clean/proven driving record
- Proven experience as a box truck driver or in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Knowledge of GPS systems and GTA geography
- Valid Class D Licence is an asset
- Valid Forklift Licence is an asset

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Truck Driving: 1 year (preferred)
