Ground Effects is looking for a **Receptionist **in **Windsor, Ontario. **Ground Effects Ltd. has dedicated itself to excellence since 1986 and has evolved into a multi-faceted supplier of quality interior/exterior accessory components for the automotive industry and more.
The Receptionist is the first person a visitor meets and must be professional, polite and helpful. The incumbent will be responsible for providing administrative assistances in daily office tasks.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent College or University degree preferred
- 3 years in office environment
- Fluency in English both spoken and written.
- Team oriented
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Sound interpersonal skills with an ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Computer skills. Familiarity with Excel, Outlook, Word and MS office
- Maintain neat and professional appearance
- Familiarity with QS9000
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- The incumbent receives all operator assisted calls and must direct to the appropriate personnel or department.
- Receives incoming mail, opens general mail, leaves confidential mail unopened, then proceeds to sort and distribute accordingly. With respect to invoices received from vendors, the incumbent stamps the invoices on the date received, checks the computation of the invoice, sorts the invoices in alphabetical order, initials the proper stamped area and forwards the invoices daily to the Administrative Assistant Accounts Payable.
- Responsible to prepare the bank deposits from the cheques received, type various letters and memos as requested and arranges for courier pick up and deliveries.
- Arranges for the provision of materials and supplies for meetings which may include refreshments and or food.
- Keeps the postage meter filled and processes all outgoing mail.
- Monitors weekly inventory of all plant office supplies, and orders accordingly.
- In the event of problems with any fax machine or photocopier, the incumbent calls the appropriate Service company and follows up to ensure machine is in good operating condition.
- For miscellaneous parts which are being exported or imported, the incumbent prepares related custom and courier documentation
- The incumbent also performs other miscellaneous duties or special projects as assigned by the managers.
