The Commissioning & Start-Up (CSU) Coordinator will lead all members and activities of the CSU Team. They provide input to all aspects of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation commissioning and start-up activities.

The CSU Coordinator will have 15 or more years of petrochemical, refining or oil and gas experience with at least 10 years of commissioning and start-up leadership experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Direct and support CSU Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Controls and OEM Vendors
- Provide daily, on-site/in-field leadership, coordination and management of a multi-discipline CSU team
- Review scoped drawings and subsystems for accuracy.
- Develop Commissioning Execution Plan.
- Ensure all documentation; tools, consumables and equipment are available to perform work scope
- Ensure Technicians work is carried out in a safe and controlled manner in accordance with site procedures
- Coordination of Certifying Authority witnessing on site
- Coordination of functional testing of commissioned systems and engaging the Operations Team when and where needed
- Provide Operations with technical support throughout start-up, stabilization and performance testing
- Planning and coordination of work within a simultaneous construction/operation environment
- Supervise the CSU Team in meeting scheduled deadlines and ensuring the technical integrity of work carried out
- Review and develop CSUcheck sheets.
- Coordination of the CSU management database, ensuring data integrity is maintained to the highest standard.
- Determine Special Testing Needs.
- Coordinate OEM vendors.
- Generate request for information (RFI’s) and Punchlists.
- Provide input and comments on 3rd party vendor selection and development of 3rd party scope of work documents.
- Coordinate and support all 3rd Party Electrical and Instrumentation vendors at site.
- Establish Testing and Inspection Plans.
