**Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Civil Foreman to join our team at RG Excavating located in Victoria BC. This role is crucial to our mission of delivering high-quality excavation and civil services while fostering a dedicated workforce. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our ongoing projects.

**Responsibilities**
- Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently. **(Preferred but not required)**:

- Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure timely completion of civil tasks.
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain compliance with Worksafe BC standards.
- Assist in civil works and related tasks.
- Conduct site assessments and prepare reports on project progress.
- Train and supervise junior staff as needed.
- Set elevations off benchmarks with laser.
- Participate in project planning and scheduling activities.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience of at least 5 years as a civil foreman or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles.
- Strong understanding of curb and gutter prep.
- Familiar with MCCD specs and standards.
- Strong understanding of BC Hydro requirements and specs.
- Familiarity with Worksafe BC regulations and safety practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license.

Pay: $38.00-$44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
