Run 3 days per week or 3 weeks at a time - we’re here to work with YOU.

**Role, Responsibilities and Qualifications**
- We are seeking an experienced safety coordinator to join our growing team.
- You are well versed in all the basic aspects of transportation safety and you are driven to make a difference and to coach people to improve.
- This position will be interactive and proactive as we strive to improve through teaching, coaching and establishing relationships with our driving staff. With respect always to safety guidelines and personal distancing, this position involves directly interacting with staff 50% of the time, with the other 50% being flexible between office and home office.
- Pre-hire road testing including proper pre-trip inspection
- Final sign off for new drivers being released into service and issuing of appropriate PPE
- Defensive driver training (in truck)
- Job task observations (pre trip, loading, driving, unloading)
- Incident investigation support and reporting
- Post incident training and sign off
- Hours of service and elog reviews
- Critical event reviews (from our OBC)
- Other duties as required from time to time.

You will report to the Director, Safety Services for the Tandet Group.
