**Position: Accounts Payable Coordinator**

**Reports to: Director, Finance**

**Position Description**:
We are looking for a team player with strong organizational and problem-solving skills, who is detail oriented and has the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Under the direction of the Director, Finance, the Accounts Payable Coordinator will maintain the organization’s accounts payables and perform other accounting functions as may be assigned.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Accounts Payable
- Full cycle accounts payable, processing purchase orders, invoices, cheque requests, expense reports through an automated end-to-end paperless AP system (Beanworks)
- Maintain Beanworks system (user set-up, training, approval paths, etc.) and vendor files
- Verify coding, invoice data entry, reconcile transactions, monthly reporting, GL journal entries for month-end close
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments on a timely basis
- Analyze accounts and create ad hoc reports, monitor accounts and correspond with vendors
- Provide support for the annual financial statement audit

Other
- Maintain petty cash
- Prepare royalty reports to support license payments
- Prepare PST, GST, withholding tax remittance reports and year-end T4A slips
- Back-up support for Accounts Receivable
- Perform other related duties as required to fulfill any changing business needs of this role

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, Accounting or a related discipline
- 4 years recent accounts payable or general accounting experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with good understanding of Excel, experience with Sage 300, Beanworks is preferred
- Knowledge of PST, GST and withholding taxes is preferred
- Excellent analytical abilities with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
