CSR Cosmetics is a rapidly growing local manufacturer of personal care and cosmetic products in business for over 68 years. We are currently seeking an IT Manager with a hands-on approach to assist our company by managing the day-to-day operations and the implementation of new projects.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Facilitate effective communication between IT and the user community.
- Manage the rollout, health and support of projects related to Virtualization, Storage array and Network technologies. Complete root cause investigation and improve processes to prevent any future occurrence.
- Ensure infrastructure, MSPs, and operations are complaint and meet Regulatory requirements set by the CSR Regulatory Committee.
- Collaborate with Managed Service Provider(s) to ensure internal infrastructure (servers, switches, batteries, etc.) and offsite infrastructure at data centers are updated and performing optimally.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and correct performance issues within the IT infrastructure
- Create and update documentation for the technical systems and IT infrastructure.
- Support cases related to improving various systems including analysis, implementation, and test, deployment, training and transition to internal stakeholders.
- Support development of annual IT budget and help manage actual spend against budget.
- Manage backup/recovery of IT Infrastructure, security system operations, and provide support for disaster recovery plans.
- Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software.
- Design, operate and govern help desk process, system and team.
- Maintain and optimize local company networks and servers.
- Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to legal and company guidelines.
- Responsible for device and password management.
- Develop IT policies and practices.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- Successful completion Post-secondary education in related field
- Industry-related post-grad upgrading/additional training
**Technical Skills**
5+ years of experience in IT management in a manufacturing environment including:
- ERP Administration: management of Test and Production environments.
- Implementation and administration of network and servers.
- Replication and Backup Software.
- Strong understanding of virtualization products and storage technologies.
- Thorough knowledge of networks and cloud computing.
- Endpoint and Security Management.
- System installation, configuration, administration, and analysis
- Operating Systems Administration: Windows, Microsoft Active Directory, SQL and Oracle;
- Server administration: on premise, datacenter and cloud;
- Infrastructure knowledge: switches, routers, firewalls, batteries, and Wi-Fi devices.
- Exposure or experience with any form of automation via tooling or scripting of the infrastructure, security, and configuration management layers.
**Experience**:
- Manufacturing industry experience (preferably CPG/GMP environment)
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with performance troubleshooting and monitoring.
- Ability to maintain composure and performs well in a high-pressure situations
- Knowledge of data protection operations, legislation, data compliance, (e.g. Health Canada):
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with a strong customer service focus.
- Track record of delivering projects on time and without negative consequences to the business.
- Strong knowledge of IT processes and project management techniques and tools with practical experience managing IT projects.
- Experience with information access control and configuration management tools.
- Ability to collaborate with teams and employees working across multiple locations and departments
- Flexible hours and/or overtime required on occasion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including root cause analysis, critical thinking and attention to detail and quality.
- A customer and quality-focused approach.
**Working Conditions**
- Primary duties are performed in an office environment
- Will be required to travel to CSR locations in the Barrie region
