Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Carpenter to join our team for a one off sun-contract position with possible future opportunities. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible to assist in the building of a attached composite deck and a gable roof on a house. You will also assist the Prime contractor in installing aluminum rails and shingling of roof. Those with experience building residential addition/house Roofs are preferred. You must have 4 - 10 years minimum experience in framing houses and building decks. Journeyman ticket & WCB not required but is an asset. You must be able to provide 3 local and recent references of this that can be verified. You must be able to work unsupervised & have your own transportation and basic tools/PPE. Work starts in approx. 3-5 weeks once permits are in.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4-8 weeks

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 50 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 4 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: In person
