As a family owned company founded in 1971 in the scrap metal recycling industry, Amix has since expanded into a wide range of services, including marine salvage, marine projects, marine towing and barging, concrete sales and steel distribution. Amix Recycling is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator. This role requires the ability to work closely with the General Manager to follow instructions for the completion of Heavy Equipment Operator tasks that include:
Job Responsibilities:

- Operation of a excavator with a shear attachment, skid steer, bobcat, and other equipment to cut, sort and move recycled metal into assigned areas.
- Load prepared metal into shipping containers.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Experience working with scrap metal would be strongly preferred.
- Experience operating excavators with shear attachment.
- Experience operating a shear, skid steer, bobcat, and other heavy equipment preferably in a scrap metal environment

**Salary**: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
