Job description

**Five Corners Meat Co**. is part of a family-owned global provider of high-quality specialty meat products, has an exciting opportunity for Production Labourer, based out of our **Chilliwack, BC **facility which is located at 8235 Brannick Place. The position is a permanent, full-time/part time, and involves working Monday - Friday 5:50am - 2:30pm.

**Position responsibilities**:

- Packaging/sealing of meat products
- Keep up with production line speed while stacking boxes of product.
- Assist with various tasks as assigned by lead hands and production supervisors
- Work as part of a team environment.
- Be willing to adhere to all hygienic food safe and WorkSafeBC requirements in the plant.

**Requirements and qualifications**:

- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment.
- Physically fit and able to lift, push, and/or pull, weight of up to 50 lbs
- Experience in food manufacturing within a fast-paced environment is an asset.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ensure safe and hygienic practices are applied to all tasks performed.

**Compensation & Benefits**
- Starting wage of $16.62
- Unionized environment
- Benefits available after completing probationary period

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $16.62 per hour

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
