**Gestion ADC**, a subsidiary of **CREECO**, specializes in janitorial and food services, primarily serving remote regions such as James Bay, as well as various localities in Quebec. Under the authority of the Operations Director, the **Site Manager** ensures compliance with the specifications for all operations related to the various food and janitorial service projects under their supervision. Their main role is to ensure quality service delivery, in accordance with company standards and client expectations.

**Job Summary**:
Under the authority of the Site Manager, the **Chef** assumes all responsibilities related to culinary preparation and service operations, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly. They are responsible for compliance with menus and for managing kitchen staff.

**Responsibilities**:
**Preparation**
- Plan the distribution of work in the kitchen;
- Ensure the cleanliness of kitchen areas;
- Ensure meal production in both quantity and quality;
- Handle equipment and appliances: Rational oven, mixer, etc.;
- Perform daily inspections of work areas;
- Manage production surpluses and avoid food waste;
**Service**
- Ensure meal setup and presentation;
- Ensure freshness of prepared meals and dishes;
- Ensure compliance with MAPAQ, WHMIS, and CNESST standards in the kitchen;
- Ensure compliance with food handling and portioning standards;
- Ensure adherence to specifications and food availability (ready-to-eat, distribution, self-service);
- Ensure compliance with kitchen service schedules;
- Maintain good relationships with customers;
**Staff Management**
- Ensure new employees are properly integrated into their roles;
- Ensure healthy working relationships among employees;
- Foster a work environment based on collaboration, mutual support, and staff development;
- Report any problematic situations to their superior;
**Inventory Management**
- Perform inventory checks;
- Assist in verifying merchandise upon receipt;
- Help prepare food orders;
- Ensure stock rotation according to company standards;
- Perform any other related duties.

**Requirements**:

- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
- DEC in establishment management or DEP in institutional cooking, combined with relevant experience;
- Organizational skills;
- Computer skills;
- Ability to work as a team and motivate others;
- Good judgment and leadership;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Bilingual (French, English).

**Work Schedule and Location**:

- Willingness to work on a rotating 14/14 schedule (14 days on, 14 days off);
- Work in remote areas;
- Lodging and meals provided.
