**Tridon Communications is seeking a skilled Radio Service Technician to join our team, working at our client’s site in Fort McMurray, AB. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in electronics, communications, or electrical engineering. As a key player on-site, you’ll work with radio and communication systems in a hands-on role that emphasizes safety, problem-solving, and technical expertise.**This is a camp position with a fly in fly out, 7 on 7 off shift rotation with flights provided from Edmonton or Calgary, site provided accommodations.**:
**About**You**:

- **A diploma or degree in Electronics, Communications, or a related field.**:

- **Hands-on experience with electrical wiring and a strong mechanical aptitude.**:

- **Proficiency with hand and power tools.**:

- **Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills.**:

- **A can-do attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety.**:
**Must-Haves**:

- **Education: 2-year diploma in Electronics/Communications or related field, or a 4-year degree in Electronics with relevant experience.**:

- **Valid Alberta Class 5 Operator’s License with a clean driving record over the last 5 years.**:

- **Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing regularly.**:

- **Recreational trailer towing experience (fifth wheel or camper trailer).**:

- **Heavy construction or mining driving experience (preferred).**:
**Nice-to-Haves**:

- **Radio Programming & Diagnostics: Experience with basic diagnostic and radio programming.**:

- **Vehicle Installations: Previous experience installing portable audio or radio equipment in light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles.**:

- **Electrical Wiring: Familiarity with wiring codes and best practices.**:

- **Hands-on Tools & Test Equipment: Knowledge of hand and power tools, test equipment, and design/fabrication techniques.**:

- **Radio Equipment: Experience with Motorola and Kenwood portable radio equipment.**:
