**The Opportunity**

The
**Project Manager, Building Technologies** supports Amica residences with the implementation of IT systems and technology related construction and renovation projects. This is a great opportunity for a well rounded IT Project Manager who enjoys working in collaboration with vendors and other business stakeholders. Int this role you have a unique opportunity to impact and shape the technology ecosystem of our beautiful residences and act as a trusted advisor to the business leveraging your industry experience.

**What you will be doing**
- Review and understand all building IT requirements for new buildings and buildings under renovation
- Ensure that data, voice, WiFi, and power requirements are correctly documented
- Coordinate with the construction team to ensure that requirements are communicated to, understood and properly implemented by contractors
- Track IT Building Technologies task to ensure they stay on schedule monitoring overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
- Manage third party contributions to the project as appropriate
- Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring the project team is actively working toward established milestones
- Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
- Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when proposing large purchases on behalf of the company
- Effectively communicate and document business and IT information in line with agreed processes and procedures.
- Optimize communication and ensure effective knowledge transfer and hand-offs between related liaison departments

**What we’re looking for**
- A minimum of three years of project management experience in the IT field
- Proven experience with project management processes; including project planning, issue and risk management, resource tracking and project success metrics
- Experience working in a collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project)
- Good presentation skills with solid communication capabilities and practices, both oral and written (for specifications and documentation)
- Proficiency in presentation development
- Experience with Yardi, CTI technologies considered an asset
- Strong conceptualization, analytical and problem-solving skills
