Position Summary
The Project Manager is the primary point-person responsible for planning, executing, and delivering corporate projects on time, within budget, and in accordance to specifications.
Position Functions
- Coordinate jobs and set up meetings.
- Review all contract documents and latest set of drawings and addendums.
- Compare construction drawings and estimate drawings for any changes.
- Develop, in conjunction with detailing department, and maintain the shop drawing schedule
- Review shop drawings for general conformance and construction sequencing requirements.
- Review of changes to contract and ensure that extras and credits are processed and approved in a timely manner.
- Attend job site meetings as required for the project.
- Download and process all information from detailing department and send to fabrication.
- The above functions to be prepared on multiple projects.
- Produce monthly project status reports for review.
Working Conditions
The successful incumbent will be working 40+ hours per week in an office setting as well as outside of the office. On-going use of computer is required. Travel may be required including overnight stays outside of Ontario.

Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of direct work experience in project management.
- Direct experience in the rebar field is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods.
