Class 1 Flat Deck Long Haul

Continental Cartage a division of Landtran Systems Inc. is currently looking for Professional and Safety focused Class 1 Company Drivers, Owner Operators and Lease Operators with Flat Deck experience to haul Flat Decks Tridem and Super B’s across Western Canada. W**illing to teach (Tarping and Super B hauling) to those with prior deck experience**
**Requirements**:
Class 1 or AZ driver's license
Class 1 driving experience specifically in **flat deck, step deck, goose neck or** related work
Tridem and Super B deck we will start you with Tridem Trailer’s and train you on Super B’s
Mountain and chaining experience
Current commercial driver's abstract
Experience with tarping and strapping loads an asset training is available
Able to pass Drug and Alcohol Testing
**Responsibilities**:
Operate company vehicle in a safe manner following all company rules and regulations
Receive load information from dispatch, via onboard satellite system
Ensure proper load securement
Tarping occurs on 5% or less of our loads
Deliver loads to customers in a timely manner
**Terminal Location**: Edmonton, Alberta (Acheson, AB) we can accommodate drivers living in Edmonton & Area, Calgary & Area, Red Deer & Area, and Lower Mainland BC (Restrictive to parking)
**Where we run**: Primarily between Alberta and British Columbia, with options to run into the USA, Northwest Territories and Canada Wide (NWT, and Canada Wide - Seasonal Hauling)
Location: 25245 111 Avenue Northwest, Acheson, Alberta T5S 1Y1
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
