**Job Description: Quality Control Technician**
**Location**: Longueuil, QC

We are seeking a skilled **Quality Control Technician** to join our team in Longueuil, QC. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring that all incoming and outbound products meet the company’s quality standards. Reporting to the Manager of Hardware Quality and supporting the Production Operations Manager, you will inspect, triage, and report on spare parts and products to maintain our commitment to excellence.

**Responsibilities**
- **Quality Inspection**: Perform inspections of incoming and outgoing products to verify compliance with company quality standards.
- **Product Triage**: Identify, document, and communicate issues with spare parts or finished products, ensuring timely resolution.
- **Quality Assurance**: Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance procedures, processes, and standards.
- **Documentation**: Support the creation and upkeep of quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality manuals.
- **Measurement and Reporting**: Utilize precision tools (e.g., calipers, gauges, micrometers) to measure products and generate detailed inspection reports.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with production teams to address quality issues and drive improvements in processes and outcomes.

**Requirements**:

- **Language Skills**: Fluency in French (reading, writing, and verbal) is mandatory; proficiency in English is an asset.
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or technical certification in a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: Proven experience in a quality control or similar role.
- **Technical Knowledge**: Strong understanding of quality control principles, techniques, and tools.
- **Tool Proficiency**: Skilled in using measurement equipment such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $22.95-$23.68 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Quality Technician: 3 years (required)
- calipers/gauges/micrometers: 3 years (required)
- Quality inspection: 1 year (required)
