**Job Summary**:
**Duties**:

- Prepare and cook meals according to the planned menu and client needs.
- Serve meals and snacks to clients from the serving station in a respectful and professional manner.
- Purchase groceries and kitchen supplies as needed (mileage can be reimbursed if applicable).
- Maintain accurate records of all grocery purchases.
- Keep track of daily meal counts and report any significant changes, such as absent clients, to management in a timely and respectful manner.
- Work with kitchen staff and management in planning and preparing menus.
- Ensure the kitchen, serving station, and dining areas are clean, sanitized, and organized.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Work cooperatively with other staff members to support a positive and respectful environment.
- Respect and uphold the dignity and privacy of all clients during food service.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Food Handling Certificate.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle for grocery shopping.
- Previous experience working as a cook is an asset.
- Ability to work respectfully and professionally with vulnerable individuals.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow all food safety standards.
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage time effectively.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
