Veterinary Technician

**Job Types**: Full-time or Part-time, Permanent

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist veterinarians and techs in providing medical care to animals
- Perform various laboratory tests and procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
- Take x-rays
- Collect and analyze samples for diagnostic testing
- Provide care to hospitalized animals
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration

Qualifications:

- Experience working in a veterinary clinic/hospital setting or RVT status.
- Proficiency in administering medications and treatments to animals
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.71-$29.55 per hour
