**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Utilize software such as Accubid to create detailed project estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing.
- Prepare and submit competitive bids to clients within specified deadlines.
- Track and analyze project costs to ensure accuracy and profitability.
- Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs without sacrificing quality.
- Maintain a database of historical cost data for future reference.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in construction estimating in the electrical field.
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as Accubid.
- Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and building codes.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

**Flexible Language Requirement**:

- French not required.

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday.

**Experience**:

- Electrical estimating: 1 year (preferred).

**Work Location**:

- Hybrid
