**Join the Wild TV Editing Team**

Wild TV, Canada's leading hunting and fishing television network, is looking for a talented **Video Editor** to join our post-production team. This is your opportunity to work with footage of real hunting and fishing adventures, transforming raw clips into polished shows that captivate and engage audiences across North America.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Edit video content for various Wild TV programs, focusing on hunting and fishing expeditions.
- Collaborate with producers and directors to achieve the desired narrative and pacing for each project.
- Sync audio and video tracks, add sound effects, music, graphics, and other post-production enhancements.
- Ensure final cuts meet broadcast standards and reflect the authenticity and spirit of outdoor adventures.
- Manage archives and maintain organized footage libraries.
- Work within tight deadlines to deliver final edits that are timely and of the highest quality.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills, preferably with experience in outdoor or adventure media.
- Expertise in using editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
- A keen eye for detail and a creative mind to visualize the end product.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong understanding of post-production processes, including color grading, audio editing, and video compression.
- Passion for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors—knowledge of these activities greatly enhances your ability to connect with our content.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reside in Edmonton, Alberta
