The Associate Trader position is at the heart of MiQ’s business, providing a unique link between commercial and analysis functions. The Associate Trader will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with Sales, Account Management, Product, Analysis and R&D teams.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Associate Trader role involves making investment decisions on clients advertising spend in a manner which maximizes ROI objectives.

The main job responsibilities include:
Assisting the Traders in regular monitoring of campaign performance

General campaign analysis and optimizationWorking with Account Management and Analysis Team to ensure campaign performance is strong, the client objectives are being met, and ensure outcomes are reflected in the insight reportsAssisting in trading decisions (the bidding and buying of online media)Supporting the trading team in retaining clients by surpassing their ROI objectivesHelping to scale campaigns; increasing the amount of ad spend from clientsManaging client reporting, feedback, insights and analysisGenerating end of month billing reports for clientsMonitoring of ongoing performance and pacing within internal programs and systemsCreating custom campaign planning, management and reporting
- Working with MiQ business support teams on the following:

- Ad Trafficking
- Client Reporting and insights
- Screenshots
- Pixel Generation General troubleshootingOngoing communication with international counterparts to ensure global standards are met (ie, Europe, US and India)Supporting the team to manage client relationships specific to client performanceMaintain a working understanding of the company structure and analysis platform
- Maintaining and developing a comprehensive understand of MiQ products

**Qualifications**
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills are essential
- Attention to detail and the ability to proactively solve problems
- The ability to work with large datasets in Excel
- A working knowledge of statistical models
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative skills with both internal and external teams
- A start-up mindset
