**Title**: Quality Assurance Technician

**Location**: 31894 Marshall Road, Abbotsford

**Job Type**: Salary

**Main Duties**:

- Demonstrate familiarity with Quality Assurance documents (HACCP Plans, CCPs, pre-requisite programs, Standard Operating Procedures, etc.) and complete corresponding records.
- Perform Quality Assurance checks to ensure all procedures are fully implemented.
- Understand, operate and calibrate all lab equipment (autoclave, incubator, scales, thermometers, etc.) in accordance with standard operating procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
- Conduct microbiological tests.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits and operational reviews, providing timely feedback and corrective recommendations to the QA Manager and the Plant Management.
- Assist the QA Manager in orienting all employees on quality, regulatory and food safety principles.

**Requirements**:

- Degree or Diploma in Food Sciences.
- Related 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing production environment is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP and Quality regulatory requirements and systems.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing food processes.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
