Are you passionate about social media, design, and making a real impact through communication? We’re looking for a creative and organized Communications Intern to help us plan and execute our contact strategy for the upcoming school year. **WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT**:

- As the summer intern in the communications department, you will support our team in creating a social media calendar, graphics, and marketing materials for the upcoming school year.

**WHAT YOU BRING**:

- Enrolled in a Communications, Public Relations or Media/Journalism program or a recent graduate
- Writing and editing skills
- Basic photography, videography, and graphic design skills
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with mínimal supervision

This is a part-time, temporary position to start in early June. Please note that there is a two-week, unpaid shutdown from July 25 through August 11.

**HOURS**: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday

**LOCATION**: Catholic Education Centre, 427 Rice Road, Welland

**RATE OF PAY**: $17.20 per hour
