To accelerate our momentum, we are looking for a Privacy Specialist to help scale and sustain Visier's Global Privacy and Data Protection Program. Reporting to the Senior Director of Privacy and Data Protection Officer, you will support privacy operations and help build upon the current privacy strategy strengthening our commitment towards maintaining a proactive, robust, and trustworthy privacy program.

Note, this position can be based anywhere in Canada

What You'll be Doing...:

- Operationalize and administer key privacy initiatives (e.g. data inventories, records of processing activities, DPIAs)
- Maintain privacy content for the internal intranet
- Conduct vendor/supplier privacy risk assessments
- Respond to privacy questionnaires as part of Sales processes and maintain knowledge base
- Update privacy training content and help promote activities to foster privacy awareness
- Assist in maintaining privacy policies, processes, guidelines and notices
- Build a maintenance cycle to ensure privacy documentation is kept up to date
- Monitor the industry landscape to identify trends and implement best practices
- Other projects as assigned

Experience
- Demonstrated privacy or compliance experience; IAPP certifications (e.g. CIPP, CIPM) an asset; or equivalent combination of education, privacy certifications and experience
- Experience with privacy management software (e.g. OneTrust, Trustarc) preferred
- Strong writing and analytical skills; project management skills an asset
- Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with teams and stakeholders
- Demonstrate general knowledge of privacy laws and regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA)
