Junior Law Clerk - Corporate

You will be working closely with lawyers, other law clerks and clients to deliver quality legal services to our clients and be involved in a wide variety of legal tasks including:
- Onboarding new clients and opening files.
- Conducting minute book reviews and drafting required updating documents.
- Regular maintenance of corporations including preparation of documents relating to annual meetings/proceedings and associated filings.
- Updating and maintenance information in our corporate database.
- Assisting with Ontario and Federal incorporations, amalgamations, continuances and dissolutions.
- Assisting with complex corporate transactions and reorganizations including drafting, organizing and finalizing transaction documents and closing agendas, assisting with closing and preparation of closing books.
- Meeting and corresponding with clients.
Required skills:
Highly organized, detail-oriented with strong proofreading skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while paying attention to detail.
Confident and dependable, with strong initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented atmosphere.
Salary commensurate with experience.
This position is in office.
