Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a permanent Receiver for our brand-new, fully automated 660,000 square foot distribution centre in Johnstown, ON GTW can offer paid material handling equipment training on brand-new Raymond equipment, full medical/dental benefits, a store discount and 24/7 onsite gym access.

Giant Tiger Wholesale - We can offer:
- Starting wage of $19.95/hour- Additional $2/hour for hours worked 9:00pm - 6:00am;- Automatic milestone wage increases at 1040 hours, 2080 hours, 4160 hours and annually after that;- Giant Tiger Store Discount - 20% on clothing, 10% on grocery- Full medical and dental benefits available;- 24/7 access to onsite gym; games room and full Micromarket in lunch room with subsidized snacks and meals;- Weekly summer barbeques and staff events all year;- Paid voluntary overtime at 44 hours;- Committed Health & Safety Culture from day one

Receiver Highlights:

- Unloading of goods in a safe and efficient manner using a counter balance or low lift forklift;
- Verify items received for accuracy against purchase orders (ASNs);
- Report quality variances and ensure accuracy in the type and quantity of received product;
- Enter product information into computer systems;
- Assign active pick locations for new products;
- Clearly sign all transport documentation and indicate any discrepancies;
- Complete non-compliance for vendors who do not follow GTW’s shipping standards.

Receiver Job Requirements:

- Completion of High School.
- Class G2 or higher driver’s licence
- Successful completion of a forklift training program;
- Familiar with material handling equipment;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Self-motivated; ability to work without direct supervision;
- Experience with or a basic understanding of personal computer is required;
- Voice picking or Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMOS) experience is an asset.

Schedule:
Wednesday to Saturday, 6:00am - 4:30pm
