As a Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader, you will receive a competitive hourly wages between $24-28 per hour based on your skills and experience.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Lead, instruct, organize and co-ordinate schedules and work with a crew of 3-4 people
- Perform routine maintenance services on customer properties as per Garden Grove standards to include lawn mowing and trimming, raking, general clean up, fertilizing, garden care (weeding, edging, cultivating), plant care (pruning, trimming shrubs & trees) according to site-specific details
- Sufficient knowledge of plant materials, and proficient ability to care for growing plants by pruning, weeding and moving dead and damaged leaf tissue
- High level of horticultural and landscaping skill and ability combined with strong work ethic
- Ensuring properties are maintained to the high level of quality expected while maintaining operational efficiencies to achieve budgeted productivity
- Manage your weekly schedule and scope of work to be completed, including organization and optimization of your team
- Reporting and submitting of all required paperwork, managing time and site details of crew services in company software operating system (Aspire)
- Identifying issues within the accounts that you service, recording those issues and reporting them to your manager
- Going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction
- Interacting with clients on site when needed, providing knowledge and information with exceptional customer service in a polite and courteous manner
- Ensuring company policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times, ensuring all health & safety requirements are followed and enforces compliance
- Ensuring safe practices are being followed by crew members at all times and conduct safety audits
- Maintain safe work practices and procedures on every site
- Leading by example all Company, Crew and Customer initiatives in Quality, Communication and Performance as it relates to representing and leading our brand in attitude and behaviour, safety, appearance (dress code), care of company fleet and equipment, demonstrating and maintaining good leadership skills
- Fill out accurate and appropriate information on equipment, truck & trailer circle checks forms
- Operation and utilization of, and proficiency with, trucks, trailers and a variety of power tools and equipment for grounds maintenance, gardening, tree, shrub and lawn care
- Overseeing the quality of workmanship on site and providing leadership and development to team members
- Ability to maintain a highly organized work schedule, while keeping your fellow team members informed and on tasks, leading them to the finish line
- Attending company tailgate and team leader meetings
- Winter snow operations of managing property sites, equipment operators and teams performing snow removal duties of plowing, walkway clearing and ice-melting during the winter season, focusing on site inspections before, during and after snow events, ensuring the accurate reporting of all information required for the company Aspire software operating system

**Working Conditions**:

- Duties will primarily be outdoors and may include regular exposure to varying weather conditions i.e. wet and/or humid conditions, hot and cold temperatures, snow and ice storms
- Physical demands include but may not be limited to standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
- During the Spring/Summer/Fall Season; Occasional irregular hours due to the weather and/or unexpected circumstances
- During the Winter Season; be actively involved during all snow events. This could be 24/
