Simply Pure Ice & Water is a locally owned and operated ice and water company, proudly serving our community with high-quality dry ice, packaged ice products and filtered water. Our Douglas Street location functions both as a retail shop and a distribution hub for ice related products, delivering to grocery stores, liquor stores, gas stations, restaurants, weddings, markets, and more.

We are currently seeking a **Delivery Driver** to join our growing team. This position includes preparing and organizing dry ice orders each morning, followed by delivery to local labs and clients. After completing the dry ice route, the driver returns to the shop to begin ice deliveries to retail and event clients.

**As our Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for**:

- Arriving at the shop each morning to prepare and organize dry ice orders.
- Cutting dry ice blocks using a band saw and using a commercial ice crusher when crushed ice is needed.
- Labeling and invoicing each dry ice delivery before heading out on your route.
- Delivering dry ice to a mix of regular lab clients and same-day orders.
- Returning to the store to switch over to ice deliveries for the remainder of the day.
- Loading packaged ice into the delivery vehicle and completing deliveries to a range of businesses and events
- Maintaining clear and accurate records of deliveries, invoices, and cash handling.
- Providing friendly, professional customer service at each delivery stop.
- Performing daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Communicating with dispatch throughout the day about order updates or route changes.
- Following all company procedures and road safety regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
- Able to work independently, stay organized and manage a changing route.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable using a phone for navigation and communication.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Previous experience in delivery driving is an asset, but not required.
- Availability for overtime and occasional weekend shifts is highly valuable.

- **Pay**: From $22.00 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

**Licence/Certification**:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)

**Work Location**: On the road, starting and ending at our store. (2340 Douglas St, Victoria BC)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
